T J Black, farmer Sec 9, P O Boone, the subject of this sketch was born in Peoria county, Illinois, March 9, 1847, he was raised there at farming as an occupation, he moved to this state in 1864 and located where he now lives, and owns 110 acres of land, was married October 25, 1870, to Miss Elizabeth Lathram, born in in Indiana, they have by this union one daughter: Gertrude
