On a recent research trip to Fairfax county, VA, I picked up in an antique store a fine portrait photograph made at Chamberlin Studio in LaPorte. It appears to be from the period of about 1900-1910 (in my unprofessional opinion), showing a handsome and sturdy young man in his earlky 20s. Inscribed on the back is: "Uncle Roy Knowles, Brother of Willa Paige." Will gladly mail this treasure to anyone related to the family.
