I have a Blough Family History that my 2nd great-grandfather Emanuel Blough and great-grand uncle Silas Blough wrote. They note that several Blough families moved from Somerset County, Pennsylvania to the Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa area in the mid to late 1800's.

I haven't studied those families much, but at first glance I don't think the ages and number of children match your description.

I'll write later if I think there's a match.
