WATERLOO -- Malinda Shipp, 100, of ManorCare Nursing Home, died there today, July 18, of natural caues; services pending with Parrott & Wood Chapel of Memories, an Overton Family Service, 232-3235

OBITUARY--
Malinda A. Shipp (1905-2006)
WATERLOO -- Malinda A. Shipp, 100. of ManorCare Nursing Home, died there Tuesday, July 18, of natural causes.
She was born December 22, 1905, in Hampton, Iowa, the daughter of Louis and Lena Mahncke Meyer. On November 12, 1923, she married Harry Shipp. He died July 14, 1986.
Mrs. Shipp was raised on a farm near Waverly and attended country school. She was a long-time member of Immanuel Lutheran Church where she was active in the Dorcas Society.
Survivors include a daughter, Dorothy Burger of Waterloo; a son, Wayne (Lorretta) of Mount Laurel; NJ; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; a sister, Delores Waskow of Waterloo; and a sister-in-law, Dorothy Meyer of Cedar Falls.
Preceded in death by a sister, Lydia Bush; two brothers, Benhardt and Raymond Meyer; and a son-in-law, Ray Burger.
Services: 10 a.m. Friday at Immanuel Lutheran Church, with burial in Garden of Memories. Public visitation 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Parrott & Wood Chapel of Memories, an Overton Family Service.
Memorials: may be directed to the church or the family.
