Looking for information about Velorious Thomas, Father of Orilla Thomas who married Samuel Shields. Velorious is buried in Washington Chapel Cememtary in Cedar Falls. I know that he was one of the citizens that donated wood to re-build the log schoolhouse after it burned down for a second time in Washington Township. Who was he married to - who was Orilla's Mother? Did he have other children? When and where was he born? Who were his parents?
