looking for family

I am looking for any information (I am new at this-just started today) on my grandfather, Albert Nelson. I believe he was born in either 1886 or 1887 in Blackhawk county IA. He served in World War I and was wounded in the Ardennes. He may have lived later in Milwaukee, and later moved to Shell Lake, WI where he married Elizabeth Deters (spll?)
