I also descend from and am researching this MOORE family!

WILLIAM LAYTON MOORE, and his 1st wife, were my maternal (4th) Great-Grandparents.

Thru their son, SAMUEL MOORE

Thru Samuel's son, WM. LAYTON MOORE, 2ND

Thru Wm. Layton,2nd's son, THOMAS JEFFERSON MOORE and his 2nd wife.

THOMAS JEFFERSON MOORE'S youngest daughter was my maternal grandmother.

This is a very confusing and difficult family to research. So much inaccurate information has been posted with no sources listed in most cases.

Will share what little I've found if you want to contact me.
