I am just beginning to do some researching on the Gerholdt family. Live in Black Hawk Co. where Gerholdt family cemetary is located. Do not have much info but am willing to share any and all I have. Father was Mads Carl Gerholdt, Grandfather-Charles Frederick Gerholdt m Anna Gydersen(sp?), Greatgrandfather Robert Gerholdt m Ann Mary Hecklinger?, greatgreat grandfather Charles Michael Gerholdt?? Have visited the cemetary you mention a few times but have not been there since beginning on the genealogy. Excited to hear from you.
