I was unable to locate either a birth or death record for Maria Christina Peterson in the dates you gave. I was able to locate the marriage record for the couple:
Black Hawk County Book of Marriages N, page 416. The index book gave the spelling for Andrew Peterson and the actual marriage application and license gave the spelling of Andrew Petersen. The bride's name was Mary Hansen in both the index and on the marriage license application and the license. The marriage license number was 6062. The witness was P.P. Hansen who stated that Andrew Petersen was at least 22 years of age and that Mary Hansen was at least 21 years of age on 8 October 1895. The clerk's name was H. D. Williams.....Andrew Petersen of Waterloo, Ia and Mary Hansen of Waterloo, Ia were married on 8 October 1895 by A. Bolijerg, Danish Lutheran Minister......*Note: to me, it looked like the witness name was P.T. Hansen but the clerk stated that it was P. P. Hansen.
