I found a couple of obits for Stephen Brown. I also found an obit for Sarah L. Merwin, daughter of Stephen & Almira Brown, & wife of Edwin F. Merwin. Sarah apparently died on June 13, 1894. Also found an news story on the death of Charles H. Merwin, son of H.E. & A.C. Merwin. Charles was born in Massachusetts and died in Waterloo on July 11, 1880.

I was unable to locate a death record for Almira Brown at the courthouse. A cemetery book at the Waterloo Public Library had a record of a burial for Almira W. Brown and it said that she was born July 19, 1817 and she died April 17, 18??.
