Looking for info from a ex:"History of Law Enforcement" in Waterloo, Blackhawk Co.,IA

My Nelson REED family is listed in the 1870 census w/ Nelson being 50 yrs old and his occp. is Dep. City Marshall. They lived in the Waterloo area from 1865 - 1871, then moved to Hebron, Thayer Co., NE.

Thanks for any help. I do have photos and grave site pics of this family and am willing to share if you connect.
