John George Vehe

I am searching for any information on John George VEHE. I was told that he owned a sawmill in Black Hawk Co. during the late 1800's through the early 1900's. I know that he went senile and my grandparents took him to Cherokee Co., IA and put him in the State Mental hospital there, where he died sometime between 1917 and 1930. I was also told that he had 2 sons. John George was born 19 Jun 1849 in Cook Co., IL to John Michael Vehe and Anna Maria Friedlein.
Any info would be helpful.
