After a long illness, Mrs. John Wengert died at her home in the fourth ward this morning at 5 o'clock. The children to whom she had been so good a mother surrounded her bedside as her life went out.

Rosina E. Wagner was born in Rheinlingen, Bavaria on September 22, 1837. She came to this country in 1855, and on December 18, 1856, she married John Wengert, who passed away in February of last year. She was a member of the St. Joseph's Catholic Church, and was a good Christian, devoted wife and mother, and a woman of many good works.

Of nine children born to her, all were present at her bedside: Mrs. N. Till, Mrs. J. Iekel, Mrs. Theodore Weins, Misses Therese and Rose, of this city; John Wengert of Sioux Falls, SD; Mrs. T. P. Flynn and Frank M. Wengert of St. Cloud, MN; and George J. Wengert of Hazleton.

The funeral will occur from St. Joseph's Catholic Church tomorrow at 10 a.m.
