Jesup, Iowa - Frank Schuler, of Jesup, died at St. Francis Hospital at 12:30 a.m. Saturday morning following surgery.

He was the son of Lena and John Schuler. He was born September 12, 1895 at Gilbertville, and lived in or near Jesup all his life. He married Gertie Ampher on Jan. 26, 1921 at Jesup. He was a veteran of WWI and was a member of the K. C. Lodge #703.

He is survived by his wife; one daughter, Mrs. Leonard Kurtz, of Jesup; and one son, Robert Schuler; 6 grandchildren; three brothers, Peter Schuler, of Waterloo; Bill, of Gilbertville; and Matt, of Hazleton; and four sisters, Mrs. Lena Wilter, of Waterloo; Mrs. Conrad Ampher, of Jesup; Mrs. George Bastendorf, of Waterloo; and Mrs. John Ampher, of Waterloo.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and two brothers, Nick and Joe. Funeral services were held at St. Athanasius on Monday.
