Mrs. Henry Bovy, 63, of 1026 Washington Street, died Sunday at 6 a.m. in St. Francis hospital of carcinoma.

Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday at 9 a.m. in Sacred Heart Catholic church by the Rt. Rev. Msgr. Edward J. Dougherty, pastor.
Burial will be in St. Mary's cemetery, Eagle Center, Iowa.

Born Rose Schneider on 9-18-1884, in Mendota, IL., she was the daughter of John and Catherine Schneider.

She was married at Peterstown, IL Nov. 26, 1913.
Following their marriage, the couple came directly to Orange Twp., where they farmed continously from 1913 to 1942. They moved here to their present address after leaving the farm.

Surviving in addition to her husband are one son, Peter, Route 4; two daughters, Mrs. Donald Fischels, Route 4, and Mrs. Ernest Frost, Jesup, Iowa; six brothers: Joseph, Van Orin, Illinois; Victor Peru, Illinois; Conrad, Oglesby, Illinois; John, Peter, and Dick, all of Mendota; four sisters, Mrs. William Klein and Mrs Johnston Roulston, both of Mendota; Mrs. Joseph Haub, West Brooklyn, Illinois; and Mrs. William Schlagel, Strawberry Point, Iowa, and eight grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by three brothers and one sister.

The body will remain at O'Keefe and Towne Funeral Home until the time of service.

The Rosary Society of Sacred Heart Catholic Church will meet at the funeral home Tuesday at 8 p.m. to recite the rosary.
