Virginia Barnett Piper of Garland, Texas, died Friday morning in a Dallas, Texas hospital.
Services will be Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. in the Fremont Funeral Chapel with burial also at Fremont. The family will receive friends at the funeral chapel Monday evening.
Mrs. Piper was the daughter of the late Oscar and Bertha Barnett. She was born in Illinois but was reared and educated in Fairfield.
She is survived by her husband, Fred; three daughters, Mrs. John (Beverly) Hull of Denison, Texas, Mrs. Don (Shirley) Brand of Garland, Texas and Mrs. William (Mary Jo) Eaton of Winston-Salem, N.C., and several grandchildren.
She is also survived by the following brothers and sisters: Lester Barnett, Santa Ana, Calif.; Chester Barnett and Betty Barnett Keefe, Waterloo; Harold Barnett, Capistrano, Calif.; Paul Barnett, Muscatine; and Russell Barnett, Fairfield.
Three brothers and one sister are deceased.
