Biography
James E. "Jim" Myers, 72, of Waterloo, Iowa, died on Saturday, April 25, 2020, at home, of natural causes.
He was born on September 8, 1947, in Waterloo, Iowa, the son of Merl and Hazel (Cutler) Myers.
Jim served in the United States Army during the Vietnam era until his honorable discharge in 1968.
He worked as a highway painter for All Iowa Contracting, retiring in 2000.
He was a lifetime member of the Cedar Falls AMVETS and a member of Rambling Wheels. He loved to ride his Harley Davidson.
Survived by his daughter, Michelle (Paul) Gaede of Parkersburg; six grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; and sister, Peggy (Ron) Temple of Dunkerton.
He is preceded in death by his parents and a great-granddaughter.
