DEATH NOTICE: (1989)

Loren L. Dietz, 65, of 131 Joy Drive, Evansdale, died friday (Oct. 6) at his home; heart attack; services will be 1 p,m, today at the Kearns Husiman-Schulacher Chapel, 234-5779; burial in Garden of Memories Cemetery, Waterloo.

OBITUARY--

EVANSDALE -- Loren L. Dietz, 65, of 131 Joy drive, Evansdale, Iowa, died at his home Friday, Oct. 6, 1989. Cause of death is pending an autopsy.

He was born July 17, 1924, in Bremer county, the son of John and Sophia Mellman Dietz. He married Louise Dostart in 1954 in Waterloo; and they were later divorced.

Mr. Dietz was a truck driver for Young Coal Co., retiring in 1980.

He is survived by two sons, Larry Dietz of Evansdale and Matt Dostart of Waterloo; two daughters, Sharon White and Donna Chilcoat, both of Evansdale; a sister, Ruthie Milks of Waterloo; and 16 grandchildren; he was preceded in death by three brothers: Rodger, Dutch and Marshall.

Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday, with burial in Garden of Memories Cemetery, Waterloo.
