Biography

Lois J. Cornwell, age 91, of Waterloo, Iowa, died on Saturday July 13, 2019, at Friendship Village in Waterloo.

She was born on July 11, 1928, in Fredericksburg, Iowa, the daughter of Charles F. and Ruth C. Leach Morgan. She Graduated from Fredericksburg High School with the class of 1946.

Lois married Garold V. Cornwell on September 9, 2019 (SIC) in Fredericksburg. He preceded her in death on December 17th, 2012. She was a homemaker and worked in several offices. Lois was a long time member of Hammond Avenue Brethren Church in Waterloo. She enjoyed playing in the bell choir and singing at church.

Survivors include three nephews, of Minnesota.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.

Services:
Will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday July 20th, 2019 at Garden View Chapel Funeral Home.

Cemetery:
Burial will take place in the Garden of Memories Cemetery in Waterloo at a later date.

Memorials:
May be directed to Cedar Valley Hospice.
