Biography

Sean J. DeMuth, 18, of Waterloo, died Monday, July 8, 2019, at UnityPoint Health - Allen Hospital, in Waterloo, Iowa.

He was born August 9, 2000, in Waterloo, son of Joseph P. and Annette C. Loy DeMuth.

Sean was a student at Buchanan County Success Center and was going into 12th grade.

He collected Pokemon cards and rock hunting. He enjoyed Star Wars, fishing, cats, playing video games, and eating pizza.

Sean is survived by his mother, Annette DeMuth of Waterloo; a sister, Breanna DeMuth of Vinton; paternal grandparents, Clem and Hilda DeMuth of Earlville; grandmother, Carol Aldrich of Cedar Falls; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his father and maternal grandparents, George and Joanne Loy.

Celebration of Life Service on Friday, July 12, 2019, at Locke Funeral Home.

Cemetery:
Inurnment at St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Earlville at a later date.
