Barbara N. Worley

Barbara N. Worley, 93, of Charles City, Iowa, died Monday, June 24, 2019, at the Chautaqua Guest Home in Charles City.

She was born September 8, 1925, the daughter of Orville and Mary (Mitchell) Blackstone in Chariton, Iowa. Barbara graduated from Waterloo West High School in 1944.

Barbara married Warren Worley on June 30, 1946, in Waterloo, Iowa. He later died.

She worked from home, was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star and was an active volunteer for the American Red Cross. She loved to paint and travel, once going to Africa. Barbara was a very social person and loved her pets.

Barbara is survived by her nephew Roy (Jackie) Worley of Greene; niece, Joyce (Lee) Porter of Waterloo; sister in law, Barbara Worley; and niece Robin Worley, both of Indiana.

She is preceded in death by her parents and husband.
