Roy Preston Oliver

October 28, 1963 - February 24, 2019

Roy Preston Oliver, 55, of Waterloo, died Sunday, February 24, 2019 at Harmony House Health Center in Waterloo.

He was born October 28, 1963 in Waterloo, son of Charles and Loretta Ewing Oliver.

Survived by: two brothers, Robert (Zena) Oliver of Del., and Thane (Yolanda) Oliver of Wis.; two sisters, Dorothy Oliver of Waterloo and Desiree (Willie) Blackmon of Louisiana; many nieces and nephews; Special friends, Tony Morehead and Jack Seals, and care taker, Susan Schreiber.

Preceded in death by his parents.

Celebration of life will be 5:00 p.m. Thursday, March 7 at Hagarty-Waychoff-Grarup Funeral Service on West Ridgeway. Public visitation will be one hour before services at the funeral home.

Roy was friendly and free spirited. He enjoyed riding his bike, talking to people, making visits to Burger King and the book store. He loved big trucks, diggers and fast cars.
