Verla M. (Bieber) Wilson, 79, of Waterloo, died Monday, February 25, at her home.

She was born March 19, 1939, in Frankfort, Kan., the daughter of Morse and Elsie Rackstraw Feldhausen. She married Robert Wilson August 31, 1957, in Frankfort, Kan. He died January 10, 1993. She then married John Bieber June 21, 1996, in Waterloo. He died June 29, 2017.

Verla was employed by Kmart in customer service for many years before retiring in 1998. She was a long time member of St. Paul’s Methodist Church.

She is survived by three sons: Rodney Wilson of Frankfort, Kan., Gary (Anne) Wilson of Chicago Ill., and Edward (Bea) Wilson of Waterloo; a daughter, Penny Wilson of Waterloo; six grandchildren: Nick Wilson, Josh Wilson, Kyle Wilson, Garrett (Amanda) Ramthun, Ben Wilson, and Teri Burt; and by four great-grandchildren: Octavian, Reese, Jasper, and Quinn.

Preceded in death by her parents; four brothers; and three sisters.

Celebration of Life will be from 3-6:00 p.m. Saturday, March 16, at Bridges Senior Living.

Memorials may be directed to Cedar Valley Hospice.
