Biography--

Whitney Leanne (Garkow) Seehusen, 31, of Dunkerton, Iowa, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday May 2, 2018. Whitney was born in Lewisville, Texas, the daughter of Russell and Connie (Reichenbacker) Garkow.

Whitney married her best friend Mitchell Seehusen, September 23, 2017 at Ingawanis Woodlands outside Janesville, IA.

Whitney grew up in Dunkerton and graduated from Dunkerton High School in 2004. She was employed by CVS Pharmacy at Target in Waterloo, as a Lead Pharmacy tech. She was a member of the Waterloo Worship Center.

Whitney loved spending time with her family, friends and coworkers. She enjoyed the outdoors, from running and going on walks, to fishing trips with her family. Whitney enjoyed roadtrips and shopping "It was on sale". She had a beautiful smile that could light up a room. A bubbly and friendly personality and was always a true joy to be around. She was an inspiration to everyone that knew her or knew of her!

Whitney is survived by her husband Mitchell Seehusen and Henry from Dunkerton; her parents Russell and Connie Garkow of Dunkerton; two sisters, Anne Behnke (Troy Smith) of Webster City, Kaitlin (Alex) Hoffer of Waterloo; nephews, Matthew, Jacob, Asher and Rowan; mother in law, Beth Seehusen of Waverly; father in law, Russell Seehusen of Allison and brother in law, Nathan Seehusen of Waverly.

Whitney was preceded in death by her grandparents.
