Biography--

Elma Jackson, 89, of Waterloo, Iowa, died Thursday, March 1, 2018 at Pinnacle Specialty Care in Cedar Falls, Iowa, of natural causes. She was born December 20, 1928 in DeWitt, Arkansas, the son of Everett O. and Lula (Duncan) Lewis.

She married Jay Merle Jackson on May 23, 1953, in Waterloo; he preceded her in death on May 18, 1975.

Survived by: one daughter, Cinda (Terry) Jeffers, Jr. of Waterloo; one sister, Gladys (Gerald) Sturgill of Waterloo; three grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by: her parents; her husband; one brother, Earl Lewis and one sister, Judith Reed.

Elma was a homemaker and enjoyed sewing, embroidery, plants and her dog, Dakota.
