Anna F. Brandenburg

September 7, 1926 - March 2, 2018

Anna F. Brandenburg, 91, of Waterloo, died Friday, March 2, at the Cedar Valley Hospice Home of respiratory failure.

She was born September 7, 1926, in Vincennes, Indiana, daughter of Oscar and Mary Gaines White. She married John E. Brandenburg on October 27, 1945, in Vincennes. He died in 2011.

Anna was a homemaker.

She is survived by a son, John Brandenburg of Waterloo; four daughters: Jan (Tom) Nichols of Evansdale, Sharon (Steve) Nordentoft of Littleton, Colo., Paula (Mel) Nordentoft of Melbourne, Fla., and Nancy Davenport of Chatsworth, Ga.; 14 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild; and a special friend/caregiver, Kim Jacobsen.

Preceded in death by: a sister, June (Earl) German; two son-in-law’s, Abern Davenport and Clair Slick; and a granddaughter, Lindsay Nichols.

Memorial Services will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, March 7, at Hagarty-Waychoff Grarup Funeral Service on West Ridgeway. A visitation will be from 9-11:00 a.m. at the funeral home.

Memorials may be directed to the family.
