Biography--

Pamela Frickson, 76, of Waterloo, Iowa, and formerly of Sheffield, England, died Wednesday, February 7, 2018, at Friendship Village Pavilion, of natural causes.

She was born July 7, 1941, in Sheffield, England, daughter of Robert and Irene Smith Dickins. She married Francis M. Frickson on December 26, 1965, in Waterloo. He died on March 5, 2006.

Pamela graduated from high school in Sheffield, and she had been a homemaker. Pamela enjoyed needlepoint, knitting, crocheting, jigsaw and crossword puzzles, feeding birds, and her yellow lab, Buddy. She was a huge Chicago Cubs fan.

She was a member of Grace Brethren Church and was active in Ladies Bible Class, Adult Sunday School and Sunday Service, and recently, placing hymn books for church service at Friendship Village.

Survived by: a son, Robert C. (Amy) Frickson of Waterloo; two granddaughters, Holly and Bethany Frickson; a sister, Joy (Peter) Trickett of Sheffield, England; two brothers-in-law, Michael Havenhand of Newark, England, and William (Zelma) Frickson of Waterloo; and a sister-in-law, Andrea Wroblewski of Waterloo.

Preceded in death by: her parents; her husband; a sister, Ann Havenhand; and two sisters-in-law, Joy Mooney and Jean Wittenburg.
