Lynda Lee Hart

Lynda Lee (Loy) Hart was born August 6, 1945 in Waterloo to Frank and Mary (Van Nice) Loy. Lynda attended Waterloo Schools with the class of 1963, later attending the University of Northern Iowa.

She worked at Waterloo Industries in the purchasing department for 20 years, retiring in 1998 to be a grandmother.

Lynda married Brian Lynn Carpenter on June 26, 1965. From that union was born a daughter Lisa Marie. Brian died in April 1967. In 1975, Lynda married John Leland Hart.

Lynda Lee Hart died on January 20, 2018 at Ravenwood Specialty Care.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and by a brother, Greg Alan Loy.

She is survived by her husband of 42 years: John; Daughter: Lisa Marie (Larry) Klodt; and two sons: James R. (Jessica) Hart, Thomas W.(Natalie) Hart. Lynda Hart is also survived by her grandchildren: Lynlee Klodt, Thomas Hart, Lucas Hart, and Ashlyn Hart; and a sister-in-law: Kari Loy.

A private family service has been held with interment at Fairview Cemetery of Waterloo.
Memorials may be directed in Lynda’s honor to The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
