Kevin Scott Howell, 62, of Waterloo, died at his home on Tuesday, January 23, 2018. Kevin was born February 27, 1955 in Cedar Falls, the son of Roy Emery & Darlene Joy (King) Howell.

He married Linda Danielson, and they later divorced. He was employed as a machinist and mechanic in the farming, auto and road construction industries.

Survivors include his daughter, Josey Howell of Pomeroy, Iowa, his son, Mitchell Howell of Clarinda, Iowa; five grandchildren, Landin, Tayler, Presley, Maggie Mae and Wyatt; two brothers, Roy (Chun Jae) Howell of California and Brad (Jill) Howell of Kansas; and his sister, Marie (Marty) Drilling of Waterloo.

Kevin was preceded in death by his parents and one nephew, Eric Drilling.
