Mary Barker, 56, of Waterloo, died Thursday, January 25, at home.

She was born January 8, 1962, in Waterloo, the daughter of Richard and Elizabeth Bedard Leeper. She was employed at Burger King in Waterloo until becoming disabled.

Survivors include two daughters, Nicole Mathenia and Melissa (Quinton) Moore all of Waterloo; six grandchildren: Aaron (Sam) Mathenia II, Olivia Mathenia, Shelby Mathenia, Isaiah Peters, Kenneth Kelly, and Sanarah Moore; a great-granddaughter, Ciara Mathenia; a brother, Jim Leeper of Waterloo; a sister, Kathy Theel of Waterloo; her significant other, Donald Simniok of Waterloo.

She was preceded in death by her parents; Richard and Elizabeth Leeper; a brother, Larry Leeper; and by two grandchildren, William and Haley Mathenia.

Services: 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, January 30, at Hagarty-Waychoff-Grarup Funeral Service on South Street. Public visitation one hour prior to services at the funeral home.
