Obituary for Betty Lou Lane

Betty Lane, 82, passed away peacefully in her sleep on January 22, 2018.

A memorial service will be on Thursday, January 25, 2018, 2 pm at Hagarty-Waychoff-Grarup Funeral Home on Ridgeway with visitation one hour prior. Inurnment will be in the spring at Garden of Memories.

Betty Lou (Driscoll) Lane was born on January 08, 1936 the only child of Wellwood and Neva Driscoll. Betty attended West High School where she graduated in 1954.

She met Lloyd Lane in high school, and they were united in marriage on December 31, 1955. Lloyd and Betty had three lovely daughters, Cindy (Rich) Rebouche of Canyon Lake, Tx, Pam (Gary) Korsun of Oklahoma City, OK, and Kathy (Brian) Anderson of Traer, IA.

Throughout her life she was a devoted wife and mother. Betty liked to travel, especially to Colorado to go camping, loved to bake, sing and play the piano for all her family and friends. She also loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Survivors include her husband, Lloyd; Daughters, Cindy, Pam and Kathy; Grandchildren, Travis (Andrea) Miles, Matthew (Meredith) Bombella, Ashley (Chris) Costanzo and McKenzie (Brandon Mitchell) Anderson; and 7 great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her granddaughter, Jamie Krueger.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to Alzheimer’s Association or Compassus Hospice and Palliative Care.

The Family would like to thank all the nurses at Parker Place along with the nurses of Compassus Hospice for their remarkable and respectful care to Betty.
