Obituary for John E. Bailey, Jr.

John E. Bailey, Jr. 71, of Waterloo, Iowa, died December 7, 2017 at UnityPoint Health-Allen Hospital, in Waterloo.

He was born February 20, 1946, in Texas, the son of John E. Bailey Sr. and Doris Cabiness.

John was a Viet Nam veteran and a truck driver. He was employed with Warren Transport. He was a member of AMVETS Post 49, Inner City Motorcycle Club (ICMC), and 1stCalvary Division Association.

He is survived by a son, Brodrick Bailey of Arlington, Va; and two sisters, Cynthia Johnson and Angela Randall, both of Houston, Texas.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

There will be no services. ICMC will host a memorial ride in John’s honor in the spring. Hagarty-Waychoff-Grarup Funeral Service on South Street was in charge of the arrangements.
