Mary E. Hahn, 84, of Fairbank, died Friday, Sept. 22 at the Oelwein Health Care Center, Oelwein.

She was born October 23, 1932 in California and raised by her aunt in Ionia. She married Lloyd W. Hahn, October 23, 1950 in New Hampton. He died July 21, 2017.

Mary graduated from Ionia High School and Gates Business College. She worked for Arnold’s in Waterloo for a short time before becoming a homemaker.

Survivors include a son, Michael (Barb) of Florida; three daughters: Diane (Denise) Hahn of Texas, Shelly (Ike) Stanford of Evansdale and Sheri (Richard) Jensen of Colorado Springs, Colorado; 13 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren.

Preceded in death by her husband; a son, Terry Hahn; a grandson, Tony Hahn.

Services will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, September 27 at Hagarty-Waychoff-Grarup Funeral
Service on West Ridgeway with burial in Garden of Memories Cemetery. Public visitation will be from 3-6 pm Tuesday, September 26 at the funeral home on West Ridgeway and for an hour before services on Wednesday.
