Obituary for Sharon Moffat

Sharon Moffat, 66, of Arlington Heights, Illinois, and formerly of Waterloo, Iowa, died Thursday, August 31, at Northwest Community Hospital–Journey Care Hospice in Arlington Heights, Ill.

She was born on September 18, 1950 in Waterloo, the daughter of Orville and Mary Schares Frost.

Sharon was the founder of The American Liver Foundation Chicago Chapter, and worked as a fundraiser for Christian Heritage Academy for 10 years.

Survivors include: her children, Michael (Julie) Moffat and Maggie (Colm Buckley) Moffat, granddaughters Micah & Jennifer Moffat, siblings Sandi (John) Dvorak, Dan (Ann) Frost and Douglas (Pamela) Frost.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Darrell Frost.

Graveside Service will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, September 9, at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Hagarty-Waychoff-Grarup Funeral Service on South Street is in charge of arrangements.

Sharon was a loving mother and grandmother.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Christian Heritage Academy, 315 Waukegan Road, Northfield, IL 60093.
