Biography--

Linda Anne Holeman, 68, of Waterloo, Iowa, died at ManorCare Health Services on Thursday, August 10, 2017.

She was born August 13, 1948, in Marshalltown, Iowa, the daughter of James and Connie Shaver Jelsma. Linda graduated from Union-Whitton High School with the class of 1966.

Linda married Roger Holeman on June 10, 1967, in Union, Iowa. She was a member of Walnut Ridge Baptist Church in Waterloo. Linda loved reading and talking to friends and relatives. She also enjoyed baking and dehydrating foods.

She is survived by her husband, Roger of Waterloo; a son, Rev. Mark (Jann) Holeman of Kalamazoo, MI; a daughter, Mindi (Mark) Williams of Waterloo; five grandchildren: Christian (Anna) Holeman, Adam Holeman, Laura Holeman, Caleb Williams and Emily (Chris) Bradshaw; her parents, James and Connie Jelsma of Union, IA; three brothers: Paul (Jeanie) Jelsma of Story City, IA, Tim (Janae) Jelsma of Ankeny, IA and David (Karin) Jelsma of Lowell, MI; and two sisters, Brenda (Tim) Gogerty of Zearing, IA and Carmen (Dennis) Gogerty of New Providence, IA.
