Betty Lou Wisecup

Betty was born July 9, 1927 and died in her home at Brownsburg, IN August 4, 2017.

Betty began life in Independence, Iowa, the firstborn of Homer and Eileen Pates. She lived with her parents in various places around the Waterloo area until her marriage to Lawrence Wisecup on January 6, 1947. Following their marriage, they farmed for 10 years until moving back to the Waterloo area in 1957. They stayed in the Waterloo area for the balance of their 70 years together until, for health reasons, they moved to Indiana in February of this year.

Betty is survived by two children; Linda Kracht (Bernie) of Tripoli, Iowa and Roger (Sue) of Brownsburg, Indiana. She has five grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by two brothers and two sisters: Don Pates of Gilbertville, IA; Duane Pates of Raymond, IA; Eunice Aschenbrenner of Evansdale, IA and Sandra Rand of Elk Run, IA.
