Obituary for Marlys A. Lotito

Marlys A. Lotito, 74, of Bonita Springs, Florida, and formerly of Raymond, Iowa, died Sunday, July 23.

She was born January 28, 1943, in Dunkerton, Iowa, daughter of William and Marcella Schmit Sadler. She married Michael Lotito on Feb. 18, 1977, in Atlanta.

Marlys graduated from Don Bosco High School in Gilbertville. She worked as a legal assistant at Bracewell and Giuliani in Washington, D.C., and Mobil Land Development in Reston, Va. Formerly of Clifton and Vienna, Va., she had been a Bonita Springs resident for the last 12 years.

Survived by: her husband; a sister, Betty Jean (Louis) Kroenecke of Houston; a brother, William James (Mariann) Sadler of Palatine, Ill.; and a granddaughter, Leiana Simmons of Baltimore.

She was preceded in death by a son, Shane Gregory Simmons; and two sisters, Mary Jo Dirks and Karen Kay Sadler.
