Biography--

Violet F. "Peaches" Triggiani, 91, of Waterloo, Iowa, died at UnityPoint Health – Allen Hospital on Saturday July 15, 2017.

Violet was born on February 2, 1926 in Iowa City, Iowa, daughter of William and Rebecca (Hinkle) Long.

She married Donald H. Triggiani on March 20, 1944, in Tyler, Texas; he preceded her in death on October 20, 1966.

Violet worked for the Waterloo School System in food service for many years.

She is survived by: a son, Johnnie T. Triggiani of Sedro Woolley, WA; three daughters: Judy A. Turner of Elk Run Heights, Linda M. (Steve) Myers of Fairbank, and Anna M. (Timothy) Gulsvig of LaCrescent, MN; six grandchildren: Tina (Steve) Smith, David (Lori) Turner, Shannon Turner, Sarah (Todd) King, Amy (Jason) Becker, and Joel Wolkenhauer, and eleven great-grandchildren.

Violet was preceded in death by: her parents; her husband, Donald; one son, Terry D. Triggiani; one brother, Ray Long; and one son‑in‑law, Patrick Turner.
