Robin Lynn Roby was born on March 30, 1948, in Waterloo, Iowa, daughter of Hiram and Evelyn (Robinson) Crow. She was raised, educated and worked in Waterloo. Robin began working as a bartender, then worked as a CNA at the Cedar Falls Lutheran Home for 11 years, and BPI for 5-7 years. She collected Betty Boop memorabilia and knitted. Robin also loved to go to the Isle Casino even when her health made it more challenging. She was a very loyal and dependable person and would do anything for her family, especially her grandchildren.

Robin passed away on Sunday, July 9, 2017, at Covenant Medical Center, in Waterloo, Iowa, at the age of 69 years.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her step-father, William Sawyer; and her great-granddaughter, Zharielle Roby-Phipps.

Robin is survived by her four daughters: Veronica (Berry) Dungy of San Antonio, TX, Latina Walker of Waterloo, Melissa Roby of Waterloo and Rhonda (Thomas) Biemann of LaPorte City; 13 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; her brother, Michael Good of MN; and two sisters, Julie Warner of Independence and Amy Bond of MN.
