Biography--

Anna Mae White, 80, of Waterloo, died at UnityPoint Health ‑ Allen Hospital, Waterloo, Iowa, on Monday, July 10, 2017 of natural causes.

Anna Mae was born on December 6, 1936, in Balsam Lake, Wisconsin, the daughter of John and Marion (Hansen) Moschkau. She graduated from Waterloo West High School.

Anna Mae married Max. D. Jensen on January 31, 1953 in Waterloo; they were later divorced. She then married Warren LaVerne White on February 5, 1970 in Lancaster, MO.

Anna Mae was a homemaker, and she also worked with the United Cerebral Palsy Group. Anna started the A.R.C. Handicap Bowling Program in 1966, and she was a member of the Waterloo/Cedar Falls Women’s Bowling Association and was inducted into Bowling Hall of Fame in 1985.

Anna Mae is survived by: her husband, Warren; a daughter, Lori (Doyle) Cowles of Dubuque; two sons: Leslie Jensen of Waterloo and Gary Jensen of Johnston; one step-son, Steve White; four grandchildren: Tasha Cowles (Kristine Hackett), Amanda (Matt) Willard, Ben Jensen, and Hillary (Clyde) Mohorne; nine great-grandchildren: Olivia Willard, Kaleb Willard, Janya Taylor, Alivia McLemore, Shyne McLemore, Cly Sean Mohorne, Malyki Jensen, and twins Andrew and Alexander Cowles Hackett; four step-grandchildren: Allyson Myers, Daniel Myers, Toni Coleman, Mary Ann White; and three step great-grandchildren: Sebastian, Gavin, and Evalynn Coleman; and a sister, Mary Dell (Stan) Syhlman of Waterloo.

She was preceded in death by: her parents; sons: Todd and Tadd Jensen; and two sisters: Arlene Patava and Anna Belle Beck.

Saturday, July 15, 2017 at Kearns Funeral Service Kimball Chapel

Visitation:
Friday, July 14, 2017 at Kearns Funeral Service Kimball Chapel as well as one hour prior to the service on Saturday
