Michael L. Haddeman 73, of Waterloo died July 6, at his home. He was born October 2, 1943 in Waterloo the son of Elmer and Maureen Dunwald Haddeman. He married Mary Mast November 7, 1992 in Waterloo. He was raised in the Washburn/Waterloo area.

Michael was employed with John Deere as a welder for 30 years. He retired in 1995. After retiring from John Deere he was employed with Hawkeye Towing where he advised and assisted the last owner until it closed. He was a veteran of the United States Navy.

He is survived by his wife; two sons, William and Mickey (Linsey); an adopted son, Rick; and two stepsons, Randy and Craig; a daughter, Lorraine; three stepdaughters, Beth, Polly, and Kris; a sister, Kathy; three aunts: Jane, Pat, and Sister Sue; 16 grandchildren, Jordan, Carter, Dillon, Evan, Billi Jo, Jason, Chad, Felicia, Dillon, DJ, Bryce, Alex, Michael, Jack, Dakota, and Paige; three great-grandchildren, Jace, Jackson, and Jacob.

Preceded in death by: his parents; two brothers, Larry and Patrick; and a sister, Susan.
