Biography--

Jeffery E. Fordyce, age 68, of Dike, Iowa, and formerly of Waterloo, Iowa, died Friday, June 16, 2017 in Mt. Vernon, Iowa.

He was born January 31, 1949, in Waterloo, the son of James A. and Ivanelle (Winkler) Fordyce. Jeffery was a graduate of Waterloo East High School and attended technical training in Wisconsin for truck driving.

He worked as a mechanic at Martineau Motors; John Deere & Co. and was a truck driver for many years at various companies including C & C Oil, Faris Trucking and Waterloo Warehouse.

Survivors include his four children: Scott Fordyce of Lamont, Iowa, Shelley Fordyce and Stephanie Fordyce, both of Waterloo and Chris Fordyce of Cedar Falls; three grandchildren: Trae, Mariah and Marissa Fordyce; his fiancé, Cindy Kriegermeier of Dike, Iowa; and a brother, Robert Fordyce of Janesville, Iowa.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Steven Fordyce.
