James D. "JD" Lynch Jr.

July 25, 1965 - June 16, 2017

REINBECK, IOWA – James D. “JD” Lynch Jr, 51, of Reinbeck died Friday, June 16, 2017, at the Cedar Valley Hospice Home in Waterloo, Iowa.

He was born July 25, 1965 in Racine, Wisconsin, son of James and Wanda (Benham) Lynch. He married Leslie Huber on April 17, 1993 in Cedar Falls.

He graduated from Hudson High School in 1983 and served in the United States Army. He received his Associates degree in Accounting and Computers from AIC in Cedar Falls. He was employed as a supervisor at Tyson Foods in Waterloo.

He is survived by his wife, Leslie of Reinbeck; two daughters, Brandi (Cris) Ceballos of California and Harley Lynch of Reinbeck; one granddaughter, Lilah Izel Ceballos; and a brother, Ty (Tammy) Lynch of Genoa, IL.

He was preceded in death by his father; his mother, Wanda Bowles; a sister, Tanya Lynch; and a brother, David Lynch.

Memorial Services: 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, June 21 at Richardson Funeral Service with military honors to follow, conducted by the Cedar Falls AMVETS Post 49. Visitation from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at Richardson Funeral Service and also for one hour prior to service Wednesday.
