Obituary--

Annie Bell Moore, 76, of Waterloo, died Thursday, June 15 at UnityPoint Allen Hospital in Waterloo.

She was born August 21, 1940 in Tupelo, Miss., daughter of Gallaway and Pearlee Wright Brown. She married William Moore in Tchula, Miss., in 1956. He died in October of 1970.

Annie worked as a distribution technician at Allen Hospital for over 40 years until her retirement.

Survivors include five sons: Percy Lee Moore of Waterloo, Darryl (Deb) Moore of Des Moines, William (Lisa) Moore III of Harbor, Calif., Heath (Heather) Moore of Waverly and London Moore of Waterloo; a daughter, Rose Wilder- Moore of Waterloo; three sisters: Jessie May Williams of Naperville, Ill., Dora May Brown of Milwaukee, Wis. and Elma Valentine of Flint, Michigan; 18 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and god-children, Paulie Kraft, Clainford Green and many more.

She was preceded in death by her husband; two daughters, Catherine Anderson-Moore and Annette
Boyd-Moore; seven brothers: Annaie, James, Thomas Lee, T.C., Willy, Gallaway Jr., and Lieutenant Brown; and by five sisters: Louise Matthew, Flora Palm, Tiny Gwen, Mary Hampton, and Martha McGee.

Services will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, June 23 at Faith Temple Baptist Church with burial in Elmwood Cemetery, both in Waterloo. Public visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. Thursday, June 22 at Hagarty-Waychoff-Grarup Funeral Service on West Ridgeway. Visitation will continue for an hour before services on Friday.
