Biography--

Suann Gladys “Sue” Stapleton, age 49, of Waterloo, Iowa, died on April 24, 2017 at NewAldaya Lifescapes in Cedar Falls, Iowa.

She was born on July 31, 1967; the daughter of Gordon E. and Miriam L. Brustkern Stapleton.

Sue attended Dysart‑Geneseo High School. She had worked at various jobs throughout the years.

She was a dedicated mother, grandmother, and friend. Sue enjoyed fishing and going to the casino, she loved spending time with her family and friends.

Survivors include: a daughter, Karlee (Jason Schweitzer) Kearns of Waterloo; a son, Elisha (Amber Barber) Ackles of Waterloo; two brothers: Gary (Patty) Reuter and Donnie Reuter; a sister, Brenda Wendling of Illinois; two nephews: Logan Stapleton and Keegan Schildwachter; a niece, Tegan Schildwachter; and a significant other of 25 years, Gregory Niedert of Waterloo.

Preceded in death by her parents; her grandmother, Gladys E. Stapleton‑Hatling, and one sister, Kathryn Ann Stapleton‑Schildwachter.
