OBITUARY--

Duane Henry Hansen, 63, of Waterloo, died on Friday, March 17, 2017, at Covenant Medical Center.

He was born May 19, 1953, in Minnesota, son of Walt and Irene (Roeding) Hansen. Duane graduated from Reinbeck High School. He married Anne on May 20, 1994, in Raymond. Duane worked at John Deere for 30 years retiring in March of 2003. He was a member of Hagerman Baptist Church where he served as an usher and Trustee. In his spare time, Duane loved to go fishing, assemble model cars and read car magazines. He also loved muscle cars and was a member of the Black Hawk County Street Machines for many years.

Survivors include his wife, Anne; five children; 13 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
