Biography--

Gary Lee Fogle, 68, of Waterloo, Iowa, died at UnityPoint Health -- Allen Hospital, in Waterloo, on Thursday, July 28, 2016.

Gary was born on September 30, 1947, in Creston, Iowa, the son of Kenneth and Virginia (Evans) Fogle.

He graduated from Creston High School in 1965. Gary married Donna Bebee on February 11, 1971 in Galena, Illinois.

He worked as a crane operator for Vose Moving Company before retiring in 2010.

Gary served in the Army during the Vietnam War and was a member of the Evansdale AMVETS.

He is survived by his wife; three daughters: Diane Wilson of Jesup, Debra (Tim) Westergreen of Dunkerton, and Cathryn Shea of Raymond; a son, Michael (Cathy) Diehl of Brandon, SD; 12 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren; three brothers: Tom (Donna) Fogle and Ron (Donna) Fogle, both of Arizona, and Dan (Vicky) Fogle of Creston.

Gary was preceded in death by his parents; a great‑grandson, Cayd Sapp; a great‑granddaughter, Jaycee Schilling; and a great‑grandson, Leon Smith.

He adored his family, especially his grandchildren. He loved to fish in any lake. He was a wonderful husband and father and will be forever loved and missed.
