Biography--

Austin Michael Burke, 26, of Washburn, Iowa, died at home on Tuesday August 9, 2016.

Austin was born on November 12, 1989 in Waterloo, son of Gregory Burke and Toni (Kriener) Bakewell.

He graduated from West High School in 2008 and was attending the UNI College of Design.

Austin worked for Target Distribution as a packer.

He is survived by his father, Gregory Burke of Washburn; his mother, Toni (Roger) Bakewell; two sisters: Brittany Darling and Brooklyn Bakewell, all of New Albin, Iowa.

Austin was preceded in death by a brother, Adam M. Burke; his paternal grandparents, Richard and Jerry (Huber) Burke; his maternal grandfather, Don Kriener; and his maternal grandmother, Sheryl Snodgrass and step‑grandfather, Paul Snodgrass.
