Biography--

Jean E. Lauritson, age 92, of Waterloo, Iowa, died Saturday, August 27, 2016 at NewAldaya Lifescapes in Cedar Falls.

She was born September 7, 1923, in Waterloo, Iowa, the daughter of Philip R. and Reba O. (Free) Musgrave. Jean graduated from Waterloo East High School with the Class of 1941. She was united in marriage with Donald C. Lauritson on May 10, 1947, in Waterloo. He preceded her in death on November 20, 1988.

Jean was a homemaker and a member of the former Burton Avenue Baptist Church.

Survivors include a cousin, Nancy Johnson of Evans City, PA, and friends Jim and Nancy Lawless of Waterloo.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.
