OBITUARY: CEDAR FALLS--Alice A. Olsen, 85, of Route One, Wadena, Iowa, formerly of Cedar Falls, died Tuesday, November 27, at Allen Memorial Hospital of natural causes.
She was born May 20, 1905 in Cedar Falls, Iowa daughter of Alfred and Eleanor Mae Savage Wideman. She married William A. Norcross in 1921. They were later divorced. She married Harry G. Olsen on July 3, 1937 in Dubuque. He died July 10, 1987.
She is survived by a daughter, Arlys Miller, of Volga, Iowa, three grandchildren, three great-granchildren, and two sisters, Mrs. Flossie Lusthoff of Waterloo, and Mrs. Vernadell Taylor of Bullhead City, Arizona. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband; a brother Richard Wideman and a sister Irene Wideman.
Memorial services will be 11 am Saturday at the Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home. There will be no visitation.
